My Personal Profile 
Skyler Beadell - Mr Pederson - Block 5


*I registered for this course because…

-I enjoy being physically active at school.

* My favourite part of PE is…

- My favourite part of P.E. Is going outside and doing activities outside.

*I think my current current level of fitness is…

- Good but could be better. I'm not in my best shape but with exercise it could come back.

*My previous personal best beep test is...

*I am currently doing the following things to be active (outside of PE)…

-I do Tae Kwon Do, and play in and out of school Rugby.

*Things that PHYSICALLY prevent me from doing exercise (i.e. medical, 
injury)

-I have old knee injuries, on both. I tore my right ACL during Tae Kwon Do and my left MCL in a rugby game. Shouldn't really affect my performance.

*Things that MENTALLY prevent me from doing exercise (i.e. energy, time)

- Motivation usually.

*My eating habits are…

- Alright, my diet is usually quite healthy but only have the occasional fast food. I usually don't eat breakfast but I'll have a big lunch and a big dinner.

*I Want to be able to learn more about…

- How to be physically active.

*I want to improve my abilities in… (ex. fitness, communication, positive impact)

- Fitness, overall athleticism.

*Outside school activities I’d like to try are...

- Lacrosse, Brazilian Jui Jitsu

*My fitness goals for the semester are…

- Improve my fitness, work harder, get in better shape.

Interim Report

          So far in Active Learning I feel I am doing good. I noticed that my level of fitness has improved greatly, since the beginning of the year. At the beginning of the year  I could only run about half of the hill run, but as the year went on and we had the hill run again I could run it for a lot longer. Active Learning has also improved my dietary choices, I try to limit out as much junk food as I can and try to eat healthy, like instead of having something quick in the morning, Instead I try to eat cereal or have a bowl of oatmeal. Active Learning has also helped me in my extra-curricular programs, like rugby and Tae Kwon Do greatly increasing my stamina and cardio. I like the activities we do in class, and hopefully in the spring we can go outside and play a game of buggers or football.Some of my goals are to keep improving my fitness, and keep trying to work on my leadership.
